Well, this blog is nearly complete. After I send my mom something for her birthday in a few weeks, I'll have my year of birthdays accomplished.
In two weeks I intend to begin my book club. I won't have the first meeting before my birthday, but that's okay. The timing of my invitation must coordinate with back-to-school activities, and I can't help that. If I find interested participants and announce the first topic and meeting date, I will consider it accomplished. I'll let you know how that goes. Hopefully I can host the first meeting before Baby is born. After that it can continue with or without me...and I really hope with me, but I'm not going to try to do too much after having the baby.
As for blogging, I still enjoy the writing process. I value this means of documenting accomplishments. I appreciate the comments left by my friends and family. I'm interesting in continuing.
After months of careful consideration of topic and title, today I started my third blog. I don't know how much I'll publish before the baby is born, or even for the first three months. But I do intend to share my new goals eventually, and that is forum for it. Check out my first post.

Anti-Procrastination
I'm a list person. Life goals. Daily routines. To-do lists. Things I've never done that will never get done because I don't have to do them.
Well, I'm sick of it! It's time to quit saying, "I wish I could speak Spanish" and just do it.
I will turn thirty on October 14, 2010, and when that day comes, I hope to have a list of thirty accomplishments.
The truth: God is in control. If he wants to send my life in another direction and prevent me from accomplishing these things (especially number 4), he can do that. But that's not for me to worry about.
